Johns Hopkins University has tracked the virus since late December.
The number of COVID-19 cases across the globe continues to climb, and the numbers are astonishing. But, recoveries by the thousands are also being noted as well, although little reported.
Johns Hopkins University has maintained its tracker of virus outbreaks around the world, and they have tallied more than 202,000 recoveries internationally since the virus was first detected in Wuhan in late December.
In the United States, which leads the world in confirmed coronavirus cases, more than 8,700 patients have recovered so far that have been medically confirmed. It is likely that more individuals were infected early on, but their symptoms were mild with a slight fever and a cough and they might well have considered it “just a winter cold.” That being the case, the recovery rate would be much higher.
Remember this verse, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer” – (Exodus 15:26).
